Vault Coffee is a one-of-a-kind coffee shop located inside a former bank. With a unique atmosphere and an extensive selection of coffees and teas, it is the perfect place to unwind and relax. The assignment was to create a brand identity that would reflect their unique concept and draw in customers.

PROJECT OVERVIEW

The objective was to create a brand identity that would help Vault Coffee stand out in a crowded market and attract a loyal customer base. The brand identity needed to reflect the unique atmosphere of the coffee shop, while also conveying a sense of warmth, comfort, and relaxation.

OBJECTIVE

During the initial brand strategy phase, the goal was to identify the key attributes of the brand and its target audience. The coffee shop would attract a diverse group of people, including students, professionals, and families.

With this in mind, I started creating a brand personality that was unique, friendly, and inviting. The brand identity needed to be simple, memorable, and easy to recognize. After sketching a variety of design concepts, I noticed I was playing with my cup of coffee, turning it around in a circle. Then it struck me - a coffee cup with a locking mechanism at its center! The logo would indeed be memorable, and it captured the unique atmosphere of the coffee shop.

For the color palette, I selected modern tones that conveyed a sense of comfort and relaxation. The typography was chosen to be clean, modern, and easy to read. I also developed a set of visual guidelines that could be used across all marketing materials, including the coffee shop's website, social media accounts, and print collateral.

PROCESS

The brand identity created for Vault Coffee successfully captures the unique atmosphere of the coffee shop and helps it stand out in a crowded market. The modern color palette and clean typography conveys a sense of comfort and relaxation, while the brand’s logo is unique and memorable. The visual guidelines developed ensure that all marketing materials are consistent and cohesive, and the coffee shop is successful in attracting a loyal customer base.
